In this article we discuss:
For many expectant mums and new parents, questions about their own comfort and their baby’s wellbeing can feel personal and sometimes difficult to put into words.
At Hatcheed 2026, those questions became conversations. Mums spoke to us about ongoing backache and pelvic pain during pregnancy. Parents asked about their babies’ preference for looking to one side, as well as concerns about colic and reflux.
On 17–18 October 2026, The Osteopathic Centre Singapore joined families at Suntec for a weekend of listening, sharing information and introducing our approach to care. Our osteopaths Gregory, Iqra and Xiaodane welcomed parents and little ones to our booth for conversations and assessments.
Backache and pelvic pain were among the main concerns expectant mums shared with us at Hatcheed.
For mums navigating daily life in Singapore, ongoing discomfort can bring questions about where to seek advice and what an appointment might involve.
The event offered an opportunity to talk through those questions and meet our team in person. Each conversation started with the individual, what they were experiencing, what concerned them and what they wanted to understand.
For anyone exploring osteopathy during pregnancy in Singapore, understanding the consultation process is a useful first step. At The Osteopathic Centre, this includes discussing your concerns and relevant health history before considering appropriate next steps.
Pregnancy care should remain coordinated with your obstetrician or maternity team and Osteopathy as a supporting care.
Some parents visited our booth because they had noticed their baby frequently looking to one side. Others wanted to ask about colic and reflux.
When you are getting to know your baby, repeated patterns can prompt understandable questions. You may wonder what to mention at an appointment, which healthcare professional to speak to or whether further assessment is needed.
Our conversations at Hatcheed gave parents space to raise these concerns and find out what an appointment with our team involves.
A preference for turning the head to one side, crying and feeding-related symptoms should not automatically be given the same explanation. Each concern needs individual consideration. Parents with ongoing concerns should speak with their baby’s paediatrician or usual healthcare professional.
For families asking about paediatric osteopathy in Singapore, we also recognise the importance of explaining the scope and limits of our care, including when further medical advice is appropriate.
Choosing a healthcare practitioner for yourself or your baby is a personal decision. Meeting someone before booking can help you feel more familiar with the people and the consultation process.
Hatcheed gave families an opportunity to meet our Osteopaths Gregory, Iqra and Xiaodane, ask questions and learn more about our approach and how Osteopathy may support their family.
We appreciated every family who stopped by, whether for an assessment, a specific question or a brief introduction. Those conversations helped us understand what mattered to the parents we met and what information they were looking for.
Our participation at Hatcheed was part of our commitment to connecting with families in Singapore and making information about our services more approachable.
The Osteopathic Centre Singapore welcomes enquiries from expectant mums and parents who would like to understand what a consultation involves. Our clinics are located in the CBD, Orchard and East Coast, giving families different options when arranging a visit.
If you met us at Hatcheed, you are welcome to mention the event when contacting our team. You can also let us know which osteopath you spoke with so we can help you continue the conversation.
To every mum, parent and little one who visited our booth: thank you for spending part of your weekend with us. We appreciate the opportunity to listen and get to know you.
Thank you also to the Hatcheed organisers for bringing families and participating teams together at Suntec.
