Later years

As we age it is normal for our joints to stiffen and degeneration of the joints is a natural part of the aging process. However, it is not normal or a natural part of the ageing process to experience pain or limitations in function that adversely effect daily life. No one can stop the aging process, however many of the side effects associated with aging disorders, such as stiffness, aches and pain can be limited and managed, giving you increased mobility and an improved quality of life.

An important part of the process is remaining physically active, this heelp your body but also your mind as it has been shown to help and improve mental function. As part of our management plan we will prescribe specific exercises to help you return to pain free activity, whether it be a game of golf, gardening or walking.
