Gregory Durand – M.Ost. Masters in Osteopathy

French born Osteopath Gregory joined The Osteopathic Centre in August 2017. He completed clinical rotations in an HIV clinic, expectant mothers clinic and a sports injuries clinic as part of his training to qualify and complete a Masters Degree in Osteopathy, at The British School of Osteopathy in 2015.

For the past eighteen months Gregory has been working in an Osteopathic clinic in London before his move to Singapore. In his consultations he looks for postural and muscular imbalances along with joint restrictions to formulate a diagnosis and set up an appropriate treatment plan. Gregory uses his knowledge and techniques to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and his treatment approach focuses on soft tissues massage, joint articulation, muscle energy techniques and joint manipulation.

Having a degree in Sport Management and Human Resources, Gregory is keen to help people from different backgrounds and has a strong interest in helping with sports injuries and daily structural issues that workers can encounter.

Gregory enjoys team sports especially football, basketball, running and has recently taken up yoga.

Bryan Lane - M.Osteopathic Medicine

American born Osteopath, Bryan Lane joined The Osteopathic Centre in October 2016. He began his career in 1992 as a US Army Combat Medic. Upon relocating to the UK he has worked the last 7 years in a clinic by Harley Street.

Bryan is a UK registered Osteopath with a Master’s Degree in Osteopathic Medicine. He holds a certificate in Medical Acupuncture from the British Medical Acupuncture Society, has completed the Sutherland course in Cranial Osteopathy and is a ITEC qualified sports masseuse. To add to his varied skills Bryan has recently become a qualified yoga instructor and enjoys using his knowledge and skills from all his specialist areas to help his patients.

Bryan's interests include astronomy, dance and theatre from his time spent in the performing arts and at NASA.

Charlotte Manning - BSc Hons Osteopathic Medicine

Canadian born Osteopath Charlotte Manning joined us in August 2014. She qualified at the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine in the UK and is also a qualified BMAS Dry Needling Practitioner, Sports Massage Therapist and Kinesio Taping Practitioner.

Charlotte has experience in treating all types of patients, including newborns, athletes, those undergoing post-injury recovery and prevention and the elderly. She has also worked with individuals undergoing intensive rehabilitative therapy after suffering from strokes and other similar conditions.

Charlotte has always had an affinity for sports and treating sports related injuries but you’ll also regularly see her working closely with mums and babies, pre and post pregnancy. She helps treat babies for neck restrictions such as torticollis, abdominal restrictions, constipation, symptoms of colic, tight jaws and general structural restrictions that present after birth. She works closely with mother and baby as issues for one commonly develop into issues for the other, especially within the first six months post-natal.

Charlotte enjoys triathlon and has competed in Ironman 70.3 events in Phuket, Dubai and most recently Da Nang in Vietnam. She adores working with fellow athletes and has had many opportunities to work alongside teams in rugby and football, as well as with triathletes and endurance runners. When she's not racing, Charlotte loves scuba diving, traveling and regular walks around Sentosa with her dog, Maggie.

Alexis Coutier – BSc Hon Osteopathy

French born Osteopath Alexis, graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in UK with an Honors degree in Osteopathy. He has over 13 years experience treating all types of patients in very different areas.

Alexis’s work includes pregnancy preparation, newborn and early childhood. In 2005 he became the founding member of a non-profit association in France founded by both French and English Osteopaths, to make osteopathic treatment accessible to all children in need. Alexis gained a lot of experience in treating conditions such as colic, reflux, mobility dysfunctions, post trauma injuries due to ventouse, forceps, and C-section deliveries etc.

His work in New Zealand and West Indies allowed Alexis to specialise in sports injury treatment of rugby players and athletes. He also coached skippers in various sailing competitions such as the Route du Rhum 2010.

More recently, Alexis has been working in Malaysia with golfers and runners to treat and prevent injuries but also to help improve their overall performance.

Another area of interest for Alexis is respiratory difficulty and skin conditions. He is trained in the Gesret method, which is based on clinical research and may help with the symptoms of asthma, eczema and psoriasis by applying manipulations to specific areas of the body. He is the only practitioner in Asia using these techniques. Alexis’s osteopathic approach consists of visceral, cranial and structural techniques.

Apart from spending time with his family, Alexis is passionate about being above or underneath the water. He has sailed across the Atlantic; he is a dive master and is keen to go back to kite boarding in Singapore and Asia. Alexis is fluent in Spanish, French and English.

Paul Bell, Clinical Director, BSc Hon Osteopathy

Paul founded The Osteopathic Centre in 2008 and has helped develop the practice to become a well-established and successful healthcare company. He has been working in Singapore since 2004 and has a team of various healthcare professionals working alongside him. He is a member of the UK Osteopathic Sports Care Association, the Institute of Osteopaths UK and the Pain Association of Singapore.

Currently Paul is in the final stage of study for a Doctorate in Health at the University of Bath, UK. The focus for his thesis relates specifically to how the body responds and adapts to injury, which is directly linked to his field of work as an Osteopath. Over the last twelve years he has delivered many training courses and lectures in Singapore, Indonesia, Dubai and Korea and has a special interest in teaching.

Paul has spent over twenty years treating many conditions as a sports therapist in professional football, then as an Osteopath and lecturer of injury treatment and rehabilitation. He has experience with many conditions and works very closely with other healthcare professionals for specific conditions such as jaw joint/TMJ issues, headaches/migraines, pre and post-natal care, feeding/latching problems in newborn babies and of course lots of sports injuries.

Prior to becoming an Osteopath, Paul was a Royal Marine Commando, one of the elite Armed Forces in the UK. He is also a qualified personal trainer, skydiving instructor and keen ultra-marathon runner.

Clare Holland – Director

Clare joined The Osteopathic Centre in 2009 and has been instrumental in developing good business practices to help grow the company while supporting the practitioners in delivering excellent patient care.

Clare has more than twenty-five years’ experience in business. She spent her early career in corporate travel as a troubleshooter specifically within the IT industry. She then moved into sales & marketing for one of the large multi-national professional services firms which brought her to Singapore. Her experience in both SME’s and MNC’s has helped her to develop the skills needed to run a small business.

Clare is also a qualified personal trainer, step instructor and sports therapist. Her interest in sport and human movement came at an early age and continues today. In her spare time Clare enjoys yoga, running and cycling with the occasional triathlon.

Sazlina Kimpton – Business & Operations Manager

Sazlina joined The Osteopathic Centre in October 2014 as a business administrator. In 2016 she became the Business & Operations Manager responsible for the overall running of the business. She brings a decade of experience in marketing and management to the team from a myriad of industry.

She has led delegations of Singapore's TV and Film industry to the red carpets of Cannes Film festival, while closer to home she's driven corporate marketing programmes for various financial advisory firms. Her attention to detail and constant drive for perfection has already had a big impact and she has become a real asset to the team.

Immediately prior to her employment with us, Sazlina worked for a team of tyrants, ages 4.5, 2.5 years and 9 months. When she does get a break, she takes pleasure in exploring new places in the hopes to conquer the globe, baking for her family and looking for new food haunts.

Latha Janardhanan – Receptionist

Latha joined The Osteopathic Centre in June 2016 as a full-time receptionist. She has many years’ experience having worked in a Secretarial / Administrative role for more than thirty years.

She started her career as a Receptionist at Singapore Airlines' Sports Club and since then, has worked in many varied industries in administrative, marketing and project management roles. She spent four years as a Client Services Manager for a large financial planning company where she was responsible for CSM training, reviewing procedures and practices, and ensuring industry service standards were met as required.

Latha enjoys meeting and interacting with people from all walks of life. In her spare time, she loves reading, movies, music, travelling and brisk walks. She also has a very soft spot for animals.

Dwi Lestari – Receptionist / Business Admin

Dwi joined The Osteopathic Centre in April 2017 as a Receptionist/Business Admin.

She has spent many years providing exceptional customer service as a cabin crew, retail and guest relations. She hone this skill with Qatar Airways for seven years providing outstanding services to passengers throughout the globe. She finally found her passion in hospitality in the healthcare industry and sees herself genuinely caring for patient welfare.

With a vast experience in communicating and managing people coupled with her outgoing persona, Dwi brings with her many positive attribute to the organization.

During her free time, she enjoys the outdoor with her family and loved ones.

By Car:
From Holland Road, turn onto North Buona Vista Road (near Holland Village).
Go straight to the major traffic lights. Turn right into Vista Exchange Green and take the first left into Park Avenue Rochester. The car park is on your left.

From Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) exit from North Buona Vista Road.
After passing Fairfield Methodist School, Anglo Chinese Junior College and Dover Close East, turn left into Rochester Drive.
Immediately make a right turn into the basement car park.
Park at the lots nearest to the sign marked Hotel.
Take the lift to level 1 and you will reach the hotel lobby.

By Taxi:
Destination - Park Avenue HOTEL.

Entry to level 24 of Park Avenue is via the Hotel Lobby on level 1.
At level 1, walk towards the lift lobby located behind the reception on the left and take the lift to level 24.

By MRT:
Take the MRT via the East-West Line (green Line) to EW21/CC22 Buona Vista MRT Station.
From the station (Exit C), walk towards Buona Vista Road passing by the Ministry of Education headquarters.
It's mostly a covered walkway all the way to Park Avenue Rochester which is located diagonally opposite the Ministry of Education headquarters. You will see a Cali Cafe and Bar when you reach the building. Walk pass the cafe and you will see a door with a green canopy. The lift lobby is right in front of the doorway. Take the lift to level 24.

The Arcade is directly above Raffles Place MRT station, exit A.
At street level enter the Arcade and take the escalator to the second floor.
Follow the signs for the office lift, which is approx 30meters on the left.
Select the floor level (6). Exit the lift and turn right through the cream door. We are at the end of the corridor on the left. Please allow an extra five minutes at peak times to reach the 6th floor.

Parking

Available at Clifford Centre. Heading EAST at Collyer Quay turn left into Clifford Centre car park just BEFORE the footbridge. Exit the lift on the 2nd floor, turn left to the end of the corridor and go through the glass doors. Turn right into The Arcade. The office lift lobby is on the right after the third retail outlet. Select the floor level (6). Exit the lift and turn right through the cream door. We are at the end of the corridor on the left. Please allow an extra five minutes at peak times to reach the 6th floor.

Follow ECP towards the airport.
Take junction 8A for Siglap.
Go straight on at first two sets of traffic lights.
At the top of the hill just after the bus stop, turn left into Siglap Drive.
At the bottom of the hill at the cross roads, on the left is 20 Siglap Drive. We are the second unit from the corner.
