HCPC Registered Paediatric Dietitian
Understanding that food is a key part of a growing child’s life, Sitaara understands that this can come with challenges and is committed to help children achieve their nutritional goals and good growth.
British born Sitaara is a UK HCPC Registered Paediatric Dietitian who completed a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at London Metropolitan University. She has since completed two Paediatric modules through the British Dietetic Association, to further her learning in paediatrics.
Prior to her Master’s Degree, Sitaara completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology and worked for a large UK nutrition company and several large NHS hospitals; working with both in-patients and out-patients.
Sitaara has expertise in feeding support for infants and toddlers, slow weight gain/faltering growth, feeding difficulties, nutritional deficiencies, single food allergies, constipation and weaning. Her experience also includes working with paediatric cardiac problems and children before, during and after cancer treatment.
Sitaara has worked closely with a range of health specialists including paediatricians, health visitors, psychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists and supported Mother and Baby clinics, together with lactation consultants.
In her spare time Sitaara enjoys travelling and experiencing new cultures, as well as, reading, swimming and trying new foods!
